Looking to attract traffic to your website without “burning” a hole in your pocket? This innovative website gives visitors the opportunity to pay for a piece of virtual toast with their name imprinted on it.
Each visitor that clicks on the branded piece of toast is then passed on to that person’s website. The more you pay for your toast the higher it appears in the listing. Right now the most expensive slice of toast went for $444.44.
Ready to feel all toasty inside? It looks like all money raised ($9,000 to date) will be donated to a charity and those that frequent the website can vote on who they feel that charity should be. Sounds like the best things since sliced bread…
Your Name On Toast

If you haven’t already heard, after receiving hundreds of angry e-mails, Steve Jobs apologized for the recent price drop of the iPhone and has extended a $100 store credit to the early adopters that shelled out the $599+ for the 1st gen device during launch.
Nothing is confirmed yet but it sounds like this offer will only be extended to those that purchased the iPhone through an apple retail store or through the apple website (looks like AT&T stores will have some questions to answer about their return policy). The reason for the discounting is Apple’s attempt to remain competitive during the holiday season.
This is a perfect example of how consumers have collectively come together to successfully impact how a brand does business. Currently there are two frames of thought on the issue. Should early adopters just take the hit and pay the price for bragging rights and being the first to have a shiny new toy? Or should it be a new standard to reward brand loyalists who willingly dish out the big dollars to support your brand?
Either way it looks like Apple is in a win win situation since most consumers who sign up for the $100 gift card will have a hard time staying under that amount when at the cash register.

Looks like Mighty Foods has confirmed that Jamba Juice does in fact have “off-menu” items available that don’t fit the healthy bill that its other publicized flavors supposedly do. [Insert Drum Roll Here] Rumored flavors include:

Currently on its 5th webisode, Mr. Robinson’s Driving School is a short film created on behalf of Volvo released in weekly installments. The main character, Craig Robinson and his aptly named arch-nemesis Swervin’ Mervn Lehrman compete for the opportunity of a lifetime… to be deemed as the best driving instructor in town.
By competing in the “Butler Tournament Magnificent” Craig hopes to beat Mervyn and gain ownership of the biggest driving school in town. The stakes are high and as in most cheesy comedies, a lady friend adds yet another layer of competition.
